So I decided to make some animations for the night coming up for some of the artists on the night to try and get them noticed at the gig as well as the eyes.
-This is for Doctor P when he plays, this goes quite nicely and could be layered over something else, I did it with various effects and new random codes which I have never used before and work quite well and can be set to go in time easily with music.
-This is for subZERO another dj who is playing on the night

So I have started to build the frame for the eyes which will be projected on to need some mesh now or some more wood to bend over the eyes to create curvature .
I managed to bend and crew the wood into shape and made both the eyes perfectly symmetrical.
They are about three feet long and 1.5 high.
So I have decided to finally try my luck at projection and VJing as i think it would definitely be a route i could be interested because of the music side involved I have decided to get in touch with a two visual artists who do events in Bournemouth and they have agreed to let me help with some shows they are doing in the future and hopefully over the summer. The first is vj splatty (steph) who does the dub optic events and outlook festivals and i am going to help set up an eye visual installation which should be cool, the second is rebel overlay (spen) who does shows all over the world and has agreed to let me come along and help with a show he is doing in london at a warehouse project and hopefully set stuff up.

bedroom wall glow
So ive messed around with mad mapper in my living room and bedroom with a short throw projector (the devil) anyway experimented done some cool stuff these are the images i got from it.
Duboptic eye
After a bit of work and design ideas I decided that if the eye blinked it would look a lot better I did this by using different photoshop images and importing them in which worked nicely then added a starburst effect in the background as well as a glass effect to the eye along with a lense flare for the pupil and i think it makes it look so much better than before. There is also a left eye I have just sent these to a vj who will hopefully try and implement them at an opening night at an event in London. (http://www.facebook.com/events/190831447682837/)
Dub optic eye both
so we used these eyes in part of the show it looked cool ive got some photos of it up as well but now im think about doing loads of individual eyes link which link up by wire the same size as the projector screen.
This is the final edit what i sent to Ryan would be cool if he used it in some way but the amount of thins i learned from just this project have benefited me so greatly it wouldn’t matter .ACE.
So for this project I wanted to introduce so motion tracking so i could get to grips with it at some point ive basically used it to help with my shoddy storyline as my filming was not planned as well as it could of been for future reference i will be planning every shot even if i cant predict the nights events.

Ive learnt a fair crack on this project and im really looking forward to starting work on something that i can use skills i have learnt from this project.
So this had been a deciding factor in this project for me and has not been as hard as i had first thought it would be, but after using two different techniques i have found that i can use the equalizer of the song im using and the equalizer of the music captured on the camera to match up a rhythm when people dance and just cut the edits with the beat of the song this has complimented the visuals well.

So I thought an awesome introduction should include some motion graphics in the title so i put together i film reel with different moustaches that beeped every time there was a new one and then finally have his logo and here it is !!!
So I have edited together the first part of my film which is about 1:30 seconds long and i want to add some colour correction so I have been smashing out the tutorials because before today i did not have a clue what i was doing, the first part of my film is in black and white to add to the feel of the music i also wanted to change the contrast to brighten up some of the whites and darken the blacks this will also look good on the crowd shots i have before the music drops once this happens i will re-insert the colour and mess with some blues and reds and see if i can get my head around the red giant plugin.

This little clip i uploaded i am going to use it as part of the introduction with it inverted behind the text ‘inspector in belgium’ or something along those lines i really need to think about this and get it sorted into my 3 min timeline.
The intro i will have with the video showing through the text like this example below il have this slide out to the side and cut to a shot of his face (ryan) and then this will freeze and combined the two
This video is also very cool with the footage ive got i could do something close to this but i dont have enough for it to be this intimate but it might work like this it would be cool
and this one got some sick stuff on this one
